Rooted in Service. Focused on Families and Small Business.

Standing up for the working families, small towns, and local businesses that make Illinois home.

This is our best chance to be heard.

I’m running for State Senate the same way I’ve always approached public service: by listening.

Over the past six months, I’ve spent time across the 54th District hearing directly from residents about the issues impacting their daily lives. Concerns about rising costs, public safety, access to healthcare, support for small businesses, and the growing pressure on our infrastructure have come up again and again. One issue has been especially clear: proposed large-scale data centers that threaten our land, water, energy costs, and local control. I oppose them, and I believe decisions like these should be driven by the people who live here, not outside interests.

As we move through February, our campaign is preparing to collect the signatures required under Illinois law to secure a place on the ballot. That work will continue the way this campaign began: face to face in our communities. I will keep visiting small businesses, fire stations, community events, and local gatherings, in Loami where I serve as mayor and am raising my daughter, a proud New Berlin Pretzel, and throughout Christian, Montgomery, Macoupin, Shelby, Effingham, Macon, Menard, Moultrie, and Sangamon Counties.

I want to keep hearing from you about the challenges you face, the ideas you have, and what you expect from someone representing you in Springfield. This campaign is not about parties. It is about people and real conversations in every corner of our 54th District.
